Indiana Hoosier football fans erupted with glee as Indiana receiver Damarlo Belcher had his hands on a fourth-down pass in the end zone with less than 35 seconds to go in the game. The touchdown would have given Indiana a 19-18 lead over the No. 15 Iowa Hawkeyes.

For all their offensive success this season, the Hoosiers have struggled to run the football. Luckily for Darius Willis and company, Saturday’s visit from Akron could be the perfect prescription for Indiana’s sickly ground game.

One year later, I am still scratching my head as to exactly what a simultaneous catch is.
