The Big Question for Fred Glass and IU Football: Who's Next?

So what now for the IU football program? Following IU’s first win in West Lafayette in 14 years, Athletic Director Fred Glass announced that head football coach Bill Lynch will not be on the sidelines next year for the Hoosiers.  It was a move that everyone saw coming following the embarrassing losses, including losing by 63 to Wisconsin on the road, as well as the close losses to Michigan, Iowa, and Northwestern at home.

Bowl season in serious jeopardy; Indiana drops 20-17 game to Wildcats

For an Indiana football team that has yet to experience a Big Ten victory this season, Saturday’s game was a prime opportunity to remove the zero from the conference win column.

Instead, pursuit of that first Big Ten breakthrough will have to resume next week as the Hoosiers suffered their fourth conference loss of the season, 20-17 at Memorial Stadium at the hands of Northwestern.

The 3-0 Hoosiers kick off Big Ten play this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against Michigan (4-0) at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Coming off of a 35-20 victory over Akron last weekend, the Hoosiers face the daunting task of beating the nationally ranked Wolverines.
