Top recruit Young spurns Big Ten for Arkansas

Five-star recruit B.J. Young decided against playing in the Big Ten and instead will bring his game to Arkansas.

Young, a 6'2" guard from Florrisant, MO, is ranked 18th in the class of 2011 by Rivals.com, and would have been Coach Tom Crean’s first five-star recruit at Indiana.

Now that Young is out of the picture, Coach Crean will likely continue to focus his recruiting on 2011 five-star recruit Cody Zeller. Although Crean has yet to bring a top 20 recruit to Indiana, Zeller would certainly fit the bill, as the Washington, IN native has consistently been rated highly by recruiting and scouting services. Zeller has indicated interest in the Hoosiers, along with Butler and North Carolina. Zeller's brother Tyler is currently a scholarship basketball player for the Tar Heels.
